I am Jerry Wang, I was born in Taiwan and came to the United States when I was 13. I am native in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English and I am very familiar with New York, having lived here for over 20 years.

I specialize in high end real estate, whether it’s for sellers, buyers or investors.

Since graduating from St. John’s University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, I have worked for real estate developers and high end brokerage for over 10 years. With the vertically integrated experience under my belt, I am very specialized in new developments and often act as an advisor when it comes to unit layouts, orientations, masterplans and design.

Before I founded Fact Real Estate to better serve my clients, I worked at Douglas Elliman, the largest real estate brokerage in New York, for four years. During my stint, I consecutively received the 2016 Gold Award, 2017 Platinum and Diamond for 2018 and 2019.

Outside of my busy schedule, I love food, traveling and golf. 

I enjoy venturing to different restaurants in NYC and outside; whether it’s a Michelin-starred venue or a hole in the wall, as long as it’s delicious food, I will try it.

Having spent time away from family since I was young, I understand the importance of making the time for our loved ones. 

With the addition of new a member last year, it has made me even more determined to work hard but also make sure I spend enough time with family.

Interestingly, having a child allows me to further understand some of the decision making rationale some of my clients have.

Every client is different. I like to communicate with the client and clearly understand his/her needs first before we proceed.

When it comes to buyers, I recommend to always be selective. There’s no “perfect” apartment, but it doesn’t mean you should be rushed into making a decision.

For sellers, I suggest to pay attention to the small details. Selling a property is like telling a story, we have to immerse the buyer and allow the buyer to see himself/herself in the unit as a owner/investor/resident. In terms of advertising and marketing, the world is everchanging and we need to use all the medium and channels to maximize exposure with the right message.

Different from other companies, I like to focus on the quality of service. Real estate does not end at transaction. There are a lot of things that need to be prepared before and after every closing. As a broker, I like to make sure each client is properly catered to.

I usually go to Asia once a year, so if you want to, we can always try to arrange a meeting.
